What is bio-Construction?
I don’t have the answer. Nowadays there are so many builders that promote bio-building and makes houses that seem to me like a normal house but with a “rustic” touch, that I honestly don’t know.
In my opinion, a bio-building should be a construction with materials that have been sourced locally. So, steel and concrete would hardly appear in the equation.
About five miles away from Quemao Viejo there is this rounded one-room “house”, that has been abandoned for many years ( as informed by a local guy).
This, for me is a good example of bio-building. It is in a ruined state, but probably in the past it looked better.
I can only imagine the effort to collect all the stones!
The walls are nerly a meter wide at the base. And in the middle there is a filling with…concrete!?! It may disqualify as bio-building them!
